It has now been over three months since Jim passed away. I hardly feel like he's gone. He left so many lessons behind about how to live and how to die. Because Jim gave so many gifts that are and will be with us for some time, it is hard to say with any certainty that he is gone.

Jim, himself, didn't believe in death. He lived in the "eternal now." I saw Jim two days before he died. He couldn't speak very intelligibly, though he seemed quite lucid. Still, he managed to say, "This is a very rich experience." Those are the last words I heard from Jim, and I will always remember them.
